Space Whales
Space Whales

This is an original design that I did back in late 2015. I was inspired by the whimsy of Dr. Suess, and the ethereal realm of Treasure Planet.

Modeled, UV mapped in Maya 2015, detailed/painted in ZBrush 4R7, textured in Photoshop CC 2015, animated and rendered in Lightwave 2018.

I originally designed this concept back in 2008. In this latest render, I introduced a new character - the tree.

Star Wars Gas Mines
Star Wars Gas Mines

This new image is from a cinematic that I did originally for the LucasArts game, Star Wars: Episode 1 - Racer. In this new rendition of the animation, I created new textures and models, and added detail overall. I also redid the lighting and animation.

Up All Night
Up All Night

This scene is from an original project of mine of a mischievous little alien. The basis for a story yet to be told. Borrowing from concept art from Dreamworks for the background set rounds out this piece.

An Unfamiliar Face
An Unfamiliar Face

I revisited this project again, and created this new scene, An Unfamiliar Face. I wanted to mix it up a bit and decided to go with a more playful story. I created some facial expressions for the statues and gave them some life. I also added some sweeping clouds - borrowed style from the Monkey Island games.

Project Bertino
Project Bertino

I created this car for a project for my friend Marc Overney. He designed the car and wanted a cel shaded rendering style - I rendered this with a new "car paint" shader at the time.

Modeled and rendered in Lightwave.
